This festive pair of WATERFORD CRYSTAL 6" HOSPITALITY PINEAPPLE CANDLESTICK HOLDERS is part of Waterford's traditional Hospitality Collection series. Waterford has been making renowned crystal pieces for more than 200 years, and the artisans draw upon centuries of tradition to find imagery for their designs. The Hospitality Collection is inspired by the pineapple, a traditional European symbol of luxury, feasting, and warm welcomes. The Hospitality 6-inch candlestick holders rest on octagonal bases, carved underneath with an eight-rayed star. The stems of the holders are the bodies of the pineapples, criss-crossed with diamond-shaped cuts. The taper sockets flare out and are decorated with vertical spray cuts resembling spiky pineapple leaves. This pair of candlestick holders is a perfect height for use on a dinner table; they seem especially well suited for a slightly lavish display.
