This really works great! It will make a wonderful gift for the holidays! I have already purchased 7 of them. Just cut off the top of the pineapple and press down when you turn it and you get instant pineapple rings. It takes only a few seconds!

If you love fresh pineapple, this is the tool to get. I just tried mine today. It was so easy and great. In under 30 seconds you'll be done. Cut the top of the pineapple, use the appropriate size slicer and core right through. One thing: If you want to save the outside shell, gauge the height of the pineapple and where on the slicer column to stop so you don't cut all the way completely through. I'm glad I choose the set of 3 rather than the one with only the med. size cutter. This allowed me to use the larger size which left virtually no edible pineapple on the sides to have to manually cut/scoop out of the pineapple I had. Its so easy compared to the standard manual method of slicing up a pineapple. You can bet I'll be eating more fresh pineapple now that I don't have to hassle with cutting it the old fashion way.

This is an awesome product! We purchased one for ourselves when we first moved to Hawaii and have really enjoyed it! Many friends and family have also purchased one after using ours. It removes and slices the pineapple without getting any of the little eyes or core. We sometimes remove the remaining core and use the pineapple shell as a server for the cut pineapple or drinks. I recommend the one with the set of 3 attachments. We use the medium the most, but it is nice to have the small and large attachment when needed for different size pineapples. If you buy fresh pineapple, it's definitely worth the price! Also a good hostess gift idea along with a fresh pineapple.

I bought this product online after I saw it being sold at Williams Sonoma. This metal pineapple corer makes slicing and dicing pineapples easier than ever. When I use it at parties, people are always impressed with it. If you do not like your pineapple in rings or small diced squares, this product won't be good for you. You don't get the same big chunks you would cutting a pineapple traditionally. When finished, you do get a nice shell to serve more fruit out of and there is left over pineapple juice. The only downfall is that there is still a lot of edible fruit left on the edges of the remaining pineapple shell and it seems like a waste to me, so i usually end up going back and trying to salvage those remaining parts after I have successfully cored the pineapple. All in all, this saves you a lot of time and takes the headache away from traditionally slicing a pineapple.
